National 5
Factorising
L.I. To factorise trinomials with 1 as a coefficient of the x^2 term.
S.C. I can find all the factors of the end term (the constant)
I can identify which pair of factors give me the middle term (the x term)
I can correctly place the factors in the brackets to factorise a trinomial.

3(3)
Trigonometry
L.I. to consolidate the idea from the previous lesson on choosing the correct ratio and using SOHCAHTOA to assist them.
S.C. I can use SOHCAHTOA to determine which ratio I need to use to find a missing side.
I can use SOHCAHTOA to determine which ratio I need to use to find a missing angle.
I can use the appropriate ratio to determine the missing angle or side

Advanced Higher
Integration
L.I. to introduce the idea of using substitution as a way of integrating harder expressions, giving the expression to be substituted.
S.C. I can see the relationship between the term to be substituted and the express to be integrated.
I can differentiate the substituted express to get the whole substituted express
I can integrate and convert back to the original expression.

1(5)
Numeracy
L.I. to look at several addition and subtraction sums and be able to set out the working correctly.
S.C. I can spot whether the question is add or subtract
I can write the sum down in the correct way
I can add the sum carrying when needed to
I can subtract the sum borrowing when needed to
