L.I. To look at the idea of using an augmented matrix to solve a system of linear equations by performing Elementary Row Operations on the matrix and then substitute back to solve.
S.C. I can write a system of equations in an augmented matrix
I can perform Elementary Row Operations to put the matrix into upper triangular form
I can back substitute to find the values of the variables and hence solve the system of equations
